DIY: Hair Reinforcing Coriander Hair Wash.

Even though herbs are claimed to have positive influence on human organism, not much information is devoted to beneficial working of coriander. Although it is a typically European herb, coriander is also widely used in the Middle East and further regions of Asia. Some sources indicate that coriander has better features than D vitamin. Is that true? What can be coriander oil used for?

Certainly, coriander is strictly associated with cooking. But, at the same time, coriander oil is a full-of-aroma extract owning plentiful of medical and cosmetic features. It works perfectly as antioxidant of antibacterial and analgesic action. Indeed, this natural oil is an incredibly universal product. Today, let us focus more on its application in cosmetology. Coriander oil stimulates hair growth, reinforces hair bulbs, and improves microcirculation in scalp. How can coriander oil be used for hair care?

Point often overlooked, coriander oil can be applied to both hair and scalp. Regular use of this oil is expected to produce only positive outcomes – hair and scalp will be more nourished as most of beauty problems connected with strands (such as dandruff) are supposed to vanish. A good idea for those who from various reasons do not like performing oil hair treatment is preparing a coriander hair wash. Definitely, it is less hair-flattening and easy to prepare.

Ingredients necessary for preparing coriander hair wash:

– 1 tablespoon of coriander,
– 1 teaspoon of coriander oil,
– 1 teaspoon of rosemary,
– 1 teaspoon of parsley,
– 1 teaspoon of green tea.

Manner of preparation and application:

All the ingredients have to be placed inside a small bowl and covered with more or less 300 ml of boiling water. This kind of herbal mixture of aromatic coriander has to be left overnight (best if left with a lid on). In the morning, the hair wash has to be strained. Such herbal extract made of coriander can be applied to hair two ways: either by sluicing hair with the mixture (with head above a sink or a bath), or simply by putting hair into the bowl. It is suggested leaving on coriander hair wash for at least a half of an hour (with a towel wrapped around the head). At the end, hair has to be shampooed.
